Although he suffered a long odds-on defeat on his last visit to Romford, the 8.33 this evening looks a great opportunity for Aayamza Legend to get himself back into the winning column. A 35.10 back in March when he won by nine lengths shows what he is capable of when he gets things right over this track and trip, and he wouldn't need to go as quick as that to get the job done tonight.
Sunderland will see the return to race action of Dunstall Dash finalist Brickhill Tamika. He was no match for his super talented kennelmate Good Acclaim on that occasion, but his semi-final win in 15.64 when beating Sheffield track record holder Swift Hostile is very strong form to bring to this track, where he has moved well in trials. The sole railer in here, he can make a winning Sunderland debut.
Zenith Scorpion was the quicker of the two maiden heat winners last week at Romford and can add the final this evening for David Mullins. He had taken a little while to get used to the sharp track having kept warm company in Ireland but he has worked his way through the ranks now and is starting to show a good level of consistency.
