Hove on Sunday afternoons the place to be with upcoming Cat One double header
The Coral Gold Collar and George Curtis & Ballyregan Bob Memorial will start on October 25 and be run on three consecutive Sunday afternoons.

Hove reminds trainers that the Coral Gold Collar will be joined by the George Curtis & Ballyregan Bob Memorial for a massive double-header at the seaside venue across three consecutive Sunday afternoons, starting on October 25.
The Gold Collar over 500m successfully enjoyed an afternoon slot last year, but will now share the stage with the George Curtis & Ballyregan Bob Memorial over 740m which was staged across three Saturday nights last year and had a December final.
Won last year by the Paul Young-trained Noellie, who incidentally continues his comeback with a trial at the Sussex track on Monday, the Category One Gold Collar has a £10,000 first prize, as will be George Curtis & Ballyregan Bob Memorial.
Won last year by the Richard Rees-trained Deadly Disco who led home Garfiney Blaze and hotpot Mongys Wild, the extended six-bend Category One will now join the Gold Collar for an open-race bonanza.
Both events are for 36 runners and close to entries on Wednesday, October 21, with heats on Sunday, October 25, the semi-finals on Sunday, November 1, and the finals on Sunday November 8.
"We're either side of firework night with these two major events and having them staged in the afternoon makes sense," said Rob Abrey, Hove racing manager.
"Double headers seem to go down well these days with owners and trainers, makes for a special atmosphere, and we're looking forward to both competitions which have a great history the pair of them," added Abrey.
