Joe's Tuesday Tips - 8 July
Joe Coneely runs us through his tips for Tuesday evening

Tuesday’s Selections
***6.26 Swindon - Ardera Sam (3pts 7/4
**8.07 Swindon - Eagles Respect (2pts) 11/8
*7.33 Swindon - Southfield Duke (1pt) 7/2
Two winners out of three selections yesterday with a healthy enough profit and we head into today full of confidence, with three more graded selections on the cards at Swindon.
The nap of the evening runs in the A1 at 6.26pm. Trap three Ardera Sam had his first UK start in open-race company over C&D last week, showing up well enough to suggest he is more than capable of winning a race of this nature. He has a better draw in trap three this evening and he can turn with Ashway Diva and Aghaburren Bucko before showing his impressive pace from the second to third bend to hit the front. He then needs to keep an eye on Ballymac Loca, who will be staying on, but as long as Ardera Sam comes on for last week's run, he can pick up his first victory on these shores at the second time of asking.
The next best is trap six Eagles Respect in the 476m handicap at 8.07pm. He has been running and winning open races over four and six bends in recent weeks at Swindon and drops into handicap company for the first time but hasn’t been given too much to do. He is given the front two eight metres with the main danger Ballycowen Lil receiving two metres from Eagles Respect, but he is capable of closing the gap on that rival before the first bend. From there, as long as he gets a clear run, he can weave through the field to make it one from one in handicap races.
The third bet of the evening is trap four Southfield Duke in the A1 at 7.33pm. This is more like an open race than an A1 with plenty of these running against each other on a weekly basis and beating one another. Southfield Duke should clear the inside trio or, in the worst case, turn with Ballymac Zeela and Eze. If he manages to do so, from the second bend he can prove too strong from and to put the race to bed before Cul Na Braithre starts to motor from the third bend.
