There was a tidy return to action from Under The Bridge who scored in this D2 grade on his first run in a little over five months. He was a multiple D1 winner as well as scoring in an open before that time off, clocking 15.86 at his best, with a couple more sub 16-second times. He has escaped an upgrade for his 16.19 return win and should be capable of going a couple of lengths quicker now that he has blown away the cobwebs.
Jacktavern Susie stepped up to four bends for the first time at this track nine days ago, winning an open despite a sizeable bump at the first bend setting her back a couple of lengths. The runner-up franked the form with an open race win of her own a couple of days ago, and the graded starting spot of A4 for this bitch could be on the low side given she has a bit in hand with a clear run.
There have been three wins from Glasheen Bucko on his last five starts in D2 grade, including notching times of 16.07 and 16.08. He in that same grade again here after a slow break cost him any chance last time out. If he can reproduce the best of his form from September and October then he should be a tough dog to beat with a level break.
