Joint-favouirtes ahead of the start of the Romford Puppy Cup
Friday night at Romford will see the opening round of the Coral Romford Puppy Cup which looks like its typical deep competition at 11/4 the field.

Darceys Dude and Scooby Mustang are joint-favourites with the sponsors to win the Coral Romford Puppy Cup which kicks off with six heats over 400m at the Essex track on Friday.
The Craig Morris-trained Darcys Dude, a winner of two of his three UK starts at Nottingham and Monmore with a quick 28.02 at the latter, flew round the big-race course on London Road in 23.66 in a prep trial and lines up in heat four on Friday where he is likely to start a warm order for the spoils - and a place in Friday week's semis.
The Carol Weatherall-trained Scooby Mustang made the final of Monday's Arc Puppy Classic at Nottingham and launches another Category One campaign in heat two on Friday where he takes on, among others, last week's impressive 23.78 trial stakes winner Lincoln Impact.
Breeding buffs will note Scooby Mustang is a half-brother of not only record-breaking Kent Plate champion Scooby The Lady but last year's Coral Romford Puppy Cup winner Scooby Diamond.
The first three in each of Friday's six heats will qualify for the semi-finals on Friday week with the £10,000 final on Friday, September 18.
