Monday double for Gray as Jackierua extends unbeaten sequence
Monday night at Nottingham saw a double for trainer Jason Gray, including his Jackierua making it 4/4 since joining the kennel.

The impressive start to Jackierua's career in England continued last night as he made it 4/4 for Jason Gray in a 480m maiden final. He had been well on top in the heats a week back, and proved to be so again, coming home more than six lengths clear of some dogs who are nice recruits themselves. A September pup makes him fine for the upcoming Puppy Classic, and while there are better known youngsters in the country at present, his knowledge of this track can help him go far.
Gray's double was kicked off by Pimlico Princess. She was a very fluent winner of a sprint contest, using the same blueprint as her kennelmate, away and gone. She had been a little while without a win but she had been keeping decent company in that time, well deserving of getting her head back in front.
There was a win for Yahoo Megan for the second week in a row here for Patrick Janssens. This was more straightforward than a week back, despite taking on a deeper looking field. Once she had come away and Da Don has missed his break on her inside, it was fundamentally game over as a contest, with Newinn Bachelor not coming away as well as he can either.
The other sprint heat went to Gallant Star for Philip short, a contest that came down to just three runners. That won't matter to connections, however, as they watched their charge pace up best around the outside of his two rivals to take the win.
Terry Munslow has had a great time of things with Swift Kipper who has won 13 of her last 21 starts. Once more it was her early pace that won her the day, getting herself to the bend with something to spare over her rivals which saw her miss out on the trouble behind.
Out and gone tactics were also the order of the day for Jill Llewellin's Lynnia Max, a smart 5.04 split seeing him arrive at the bend with a lead that he wouldn't relinquish. He had bounced back to winning ways in an A4 last time out, so it looks like he took plenty of confidence forward for getting his head in front again.
Tinnaban Taylor sprung a 14/1 surprise for Robert Short in the first open on the card. She popped out in front, leading home her kennelmate Mainoos Girl for a £123 forecast. The winner has been ticking over nicely heading up the grades at Dunstall Park, winning A8, A7 and A6 within a month from May into June.
