Open race doubles for Boon, Brown and Craske at Suffolk Downs
Seven open races at Suffolk Downs on Tuesday night saw a string of doubles with Kevin Boon, Michelle Brown and Jane Craske all picking up a pair of winners.

Multiples all over again at Suffolk Downs
Multiple winners for trainers are being picked up with regularity at Suffolk Downs these days and for the second Tuesday in a row, there were only four trainers who got a look in at the winners in the opens.
Kevin Boon picked up the last two races on the card, both over six bends. Farneys Millie was marginally the quicker of the pair by 10 spots, successful at the first time of asking after being stepped up in trip. Her stamina wasn't completely assured but her four bend speed took her so far clear, it was never tested. 33.99 suggested that she is absolutely fine over the trip.
Farneys Takeaway landed the opening half of the double for Boon, leading up a decent 548m contest. He is still only a May 24 puppy and it could be a drop back to four bends for him next up and a trip to Monmore to take on the Premier Greyhound Racing Puppy Derby. He has two wins and a short head second in three tries over the trip and 575m at Romford probably awaits later on in the year.
It wouldn't be a Tuesday night without a couple of open race winners for the Michelle Brown kennel, and her Roanna Mamba was foot perfect once more over 388m. He didn't blaze to quite such a quick sectional as last week but it was still more than enough to see him have the race in safekeeping before they passed the line the first time around.
It was Pro Flo who started the double off with an all-the-way win in a sprint maiden. She has done well since dropping to two bends here, chasing home a decent one in a D1 last time out and she was just a spot slower here with a 13.82, a time that is always going to be more than enough in a maiden.
Laugh Alot is the reigning Yarmouth track champion and she's laying down some credentials to take that crown at Suffolk Downs as well. A hugely likeable bitch, she paced up best to take out a race against her own sex, making it three wins on the bounce at the track for Jane Craske.
Craske quickly doubled up with Isthatmyfella who was not breaking his four-bend maiden tag out of turn having run a string of solid races of late. He had a pair of Romford sprint wins in the autumn in 13.46 and 13.62 so he is more than capable of speedy displays but this was his first success since the second of those.
One other open on the card went to Jason Smith's Westfield Forno. She showed some tactical sense to back off a touch at the opening bend with runners either side of her before kicking on down the back to add to a recent A4 success. A litter sister to Craig Morris's very smart Nightingale Crew, she looks a nice type in the making herself.
