Nathan Hunt four-timer at Romford

A 298/1 four-timer for Nathan Hunt stole the show at Romford last night. Untold Paanga was the cornerstone winner, landing the final of a Cat Three Stayers. There were winners over three different trips for the kennel, Davo You Go also landing a 575m contest, Bretons Boy a 400m race and Dreamin Faith a sprint. The last named was a 20/1 winner last week but was allowed to go off at 7/1 last night. Perhaps punters will keep the faith next time out?

There was a double on the night for Michelle Brown. Golden Palace has shown plenty of excellent form at Romford, staying on well last night to add another win to his tally. Brown's other winner came from Tomahawk in a 400m contest.

John Mullins was another trainer to pick up a double with Bombay The Jokey continuing a solid run of form this spring that has seen him win over two bends at Towcester, four at Yarmouth and six at Romford last night. Swift Depot was also a 575m scorer for the team.

The two shocks on the card came courtesy of runners from the striped jacket. Slipalong Rex landed a 12/1 victory to Eric Cantillon before Jane Craske's Classen Dynamic bettered that with a 16/1 win almost two hours later.

Dave Lee saw his El Tornillo win a third straight contest after a pair at Hove while Martyn Wiley picked up a winner with Innfield Melody in the other two opens on the evening.

Just one open at Sunderland

A single open at Sunderland on Friday night went the way of Mark Bulmer's Cloncunny Black. He had made a Cat Three final last week but missed his break and found first bend trouble as a result when behind Madabout Peck. A better break saw him in control before halfway last night.
