Romford trainers with a stranglehold on the Ladbrokes Puppy Derby
Four of the six runners in the final of the Ladbrokes Puppy Derby at Monmore on Saturday night represent Romford trainers, including the favourite Underground Gold.

Will Romford handlers dominate at Monmore?
Romford trainers dominate the Ladbrokes Puppy Derby Final with the Entain firms - Ladbrokes and Coral - making it 1-6 a Romford winner of the £20,000 feature and 4-1 a non-Romford winner.
Entain's Danny Jordon said: "Romford trainers seem to have a stranglehold on lifting the trophy with no less than four runners including the ante-post favourite in Underground Gold.
"The favourite is a loser in both our ante-post books but goes from trap four in the final which makes this final very interesting.
"Drawn outside Droopys Vicar who shows good early speed means this race is by means no foregone conclusion.
"Droopys Script would be my selection against the favourite as he may miss any scrimmaging from trap six."
Three semi-finals of the Ladbrokes Puppy Derby were won by Maxine Locke's Droopys Script (28.19), Paul Young's Underground Gold (28.05) and Kim Billingham-Hine's local Newinn Jolly (28.67sec).
Ladbrokes bet:
4-6 Underground Gold, 7-2 Droopys Script, 9-2 Aayamza Shazza, 8 Droopys Vicar, 14 Newinn Jolly, 33 Bowmers Buddy.
