** Proper Heiress - 8.50 Central Park
* Powerhouse Duke - 8.26 Oxford
There are three major finals this evening so we have a selection in each for our tips this Saturday night kicking off with the Ladbrokes Puppy Derby final at Monmore. Underground Gold has been absolutely exceptional in both his heat and semi-final of this competition, looking one of the smartest puppies around at present. He can confirm that impression tonight by taking this prize ahead of a tilt at the Derby.
If they were drawn the other way around then perhaps Scooby The Lady would be the tip in the Arena Racing Company Kent Plate final, but it has to be Proper Heiress to take the win at Central Park. He landed this comepition last year on his way to winning Greyhound of the Year as the undisputed top four-bend dog in the country. That is a title that he will not reqlinquish easily.
The bet365 Hunt Cup final is a little more open in terms of the betting but Powerhouse Duke looks. the one to be on at Oxford. He is still relatively unexposed as a stayer, and has the early gears to get around the opening bend in front this evening. This is not the easiest track to claw them back when they are on the pace and he can maintain the gallop to give Seamus Cahill back-to-back winners in this event after Hogans Hawk last year.
