Some speedy Nottingham trials last night ahead of the Premier Greyhound Racing Eclipse
There was an excellent trial session at Nottingham last night with the start of the Premier Greyhound Racing Eclipse just two weeks away.

Flashy times in Nottingham trials
Nottingham is very much on the countdown to the Premier Greyhound Eclipse after a number of big-race hopefuls were put through their paces in trials before racing on Monday.
On a night Sean Parker's St Leger winner Droopys Flare made her return to the track with a 29.51sec trial for the 500m trip at the Colwick Park venue, it was Arc Select Stakes champion Underground Gold who set the standard on the night with a slick 29.20sec (+30) spin for the one-lap at the East Midlands venue.
Recent PGR Kent Derby winner Annadown Warrior also impressed with a 29.38sec (+30) workout as Maxine Locke's runner aims to add to his Arc Puppy Classic win over the same C&D in August, achieved the same night as Underground Gold won the Select Stakes.
Warrior's litter brother Annadown Shadow, trained by Sean Parker, caught the eye with a 29.33sec spin (+30), while Paul Young's Ballymac Ralf, an English Derby finalist and Dundalk International runner-up, stopped the clock in 29.50sec (+30). Ruth Lambe's Oaks semi-finalist Dapper Duffy posted 29.64sec (+30).
*THE Premier Greyhound Racing Eclipse closes to entries at 11am on Friday, November 13.
Heats of the £20,000-to-the-winner event are on Monday, November 16; the semi-finals on Monday, November 23 and the Category One final on Monday, November 30.
