Tuesday's Tips
*** Snaffi Star - 6.42 Towcester
** Trapstyle Toucan - 8.41 Towcester
* Bambis Daisy - 6.26 Towcester
Snaffi Star returned from three months off with a win at this D2 level last month. She didn't go as quick as she can do, but it wasn't required to see off her opposition that day. All of her prior sprints at this track had come at the level above, winning in February in sub 16 seconds. That sort of time probably won't be required to land this, but it is always handy to have it in the tank!
Eight times Trapstyle Toucan has run in D3 races, winning five of them. She has been turned over in her last two, but this looks a very winnable opportunity both on what she has done in those defeats on the clock as well as being drawn inside of the slowest starter in the race which will give her control of the rails. She should be bouncing back to winning ways with a clear run this evening.
Although she is a short runner, the drop into an easier level this evening can see Bambis Daisy hold on. She should have no issues leading up the sole rival on her inside to take control of the rails, with a drop into an A7 following a 29.84 runner-up effort in an A6 rather surprising. February was the last time that she was this low down the graded ladder and she can cash in on that.
