It's graded action on Tuesday evening as we head to Towcester to find the three best bets for their card for our selections.
Tuesday's Tips
*** Trapstyle Spud - 7.49 Towcester
** Salacres Cath - 8.24 Towcester
* Unknown Path - 6.26 Towcester
Things have really started to drop right for Trapstyle Spud in 2026, the winner of six of his 13 starts in sprints this year, including three of his last six in this D1 grade. All of those have seen him dip under 16 seconds, really putting together a run of consistency. This is not the toughest D1 and with one of his usual breaks, he should be able to add to his record of wins.
Salacres Cath has not got her head in front since January but that was in an A3 contest, two grades lower than that tonight. She has won there of the four times that she has dropped down to this level, the most recent of those way back in October 2024. Don't expect to see her in the firing line early, but in this grade, she should be able to pick them up late on.
It has been a very promising start to the career of Unknown Path. She has won two of her four starts, second in the other pair and one of them saw her beaten just a short head. She was a winner in this D2 grade last time out, and with the potential for better to come, she can go in again.
