Two trebles at Suffolk Downs

Laugh Alot is becoming a Suffolk Downs legend these days to add to her crown as the Queen of Yarmouth. She has been sparkling in recent weeks, winning for the sixth straight time last night for Jane Craske. She saw off Golden Acre who has chased her home in each of those six runs to kick off an excellent night for the kennel.

A step up to six bends looked the right move at the track for Lottie Blue who produced the middle leg of Craske's treble. She's still a puppy but already has an impressive winning time in an A2 at her home track of Yarmouth. She gifted them plenty of lengths at the start but still worked her way through the field to win comfortably.

The final winner of the three was rather less expected than the other two. After Inca Lewie's demolition job at Romford last Friday night, he was sent off a short-priced favourite to land a 548m contest but Craske's Table Talk had other ideas. The veteran got himself to the front early enough and held off the favourite who rattled home to grab second.

Three winners for Michelle Brown on a Tuesday night is a fairly regular occurrence, as is Bucking Bucks coming home in front. A slick exit quickly saw him on the bunny, making all of the running to pick up his 10th win from 17 starts at the track since the reopening last November.

Essex Crazy has already got some experience around bigger tracks than this and 388m looks to be as short as he wants. He got an excellent second hare to chase in the shape of Rileys Daughter who produced a lightning 4.49 split. She was denied her hat-trick of wins by the strong-running, Brown-trained railer.

A sprint provided Brown with her other winner as Daisys Blueboy got himself off the mark at the first time of asking in an open. He has worked his way steadily through the grades at the track, and as a June 24 whelp, might just be capable of a touch better still to come.

Another sprint contest on the card went to Darren Whitton's Moaning Hearns. He made it a perfect 4/4 over the 220m trip this year with a brutally efficient performance. Out in front early, he ran away from his rivals to score by five and a quarter lengths.

There was a 388m win for Capel Icon who got herself off the mark in open class company. She has been knocking on the door for weeks now, so it was good to see it finally open for her and Tony Gifkins.
