Wednesday's Greyhound Racing Tips - 15 April 2026
It's graded action on Wednesday night. We have a selection from each of three tracks with Dunstall Park, Romford and Yarmouth all in action this evening.
Wednesday's Tips
*** Southfield Duke - 6.42 Dunstall Park
** Speedy Zara - 6.37 Romford
* Giant Killer - 8.47 Yarmouth
There have been some stiff tests given to Southfield Duke so far this year, but he drops down to A2 tonight and that could be just the ticket for an improved performance. He has plenty of open race winning form and a switch to Nottingham last time out saw a little bit more of a spark. If he can bring that back to this track in lesser company, he could be hard to hold.
An interesting debutant tonight at Romford is Speedy Zara. She split decisions in a pair of mixed trials with Hollywood Leo who is being pitched straight into open race company at this track on Friday night. This bitch makes her UK debut in an A4, with a couple of Dundalk wins last year suggesting that this level is going to be well within her compass.
Giant Killer was A4 at Suffolk Downs ahead of that track's closure, making the same grade at Towcester prior to that. She is in at Yarmouth tonight in a race that pitches local runners against some ex-Suffolk Downs racers. There was a fair enough trial from her but she didn't step forward in a race on her last outing but it is far too soon to be giving up on her at this different track which takes a bit of learning.
