There is plenty of graded action this evening, we have one selection from each of Dunstall Park, Romford and Yarmouth.
Wednesday's Tips
*** Liberty Buck - 6.48 Yarmouth
** Lollipop Lucy - 8.38 Romford
* Headford Jake - 6.42 Dunstall Park
Liberty Buck makes his four-bend debut at Yarmouth this evening and it could be a successful one in A8 grade. He has been shaping well in sprints of late but has more chance to get himself on the bunny this evening. One of his more notable efforts over two bends was when chasing home Easy Liberty on June 24, with a length and a quarter separating the pair on that occasion. Easy Liberty was an A1 winner back in April, so am A8 start could be very tempting for Liberty Buck.
There could be a generous downgrade this evening at Romford for Lollipop Lucy. Dave Lee's charge led up on her track debut in an A6 but just failed to make the corner, turned sideways and trodden on as she fell back through the field to last. A similar break could see her around in front in an A7, and on her Irish form, she shouldn't be coming back if that is the case.
480m is on the long side for Headford Jake but he has an opportunity tonight to dominate proceedings on the inside from the second the lids open. He has some very strong sprint form and made a higher level that this when he was running graded at Perry Barr over four bends. Run down by a short head last time out, he might just benefit from having had that first look at this track over the trip.
