Yarmouth bucking the current weather trend
Yarmouth are proud to be bucking the trend in the current spell of warm weather, with the track sat on the coast, temperatures are significantly lower there than elsewhere in the country.

Yarmouth bucking the trend
Yarmouth continues to buck the trend and is able to race given lower temperatures at the seaside venue, not to mention an almost constant breeze.
With most of the UK's tracks having cancelled meetings during the current hot spell, Yarmouth and the north-east venues have been able to operate as normal.
Sunderland raced Wednesday afternoon and Yarmouth are racing tonight (Wednesday).
"Weather wise we are lucky being on the east coast as it's always cooler than inland," said Yarmouth director Simon Franklin.
"It's been between 22 and 25 degrees here with a nice sea breeze.
"They’ve been watering the track this afternoon by hose. We prefer to keep the bowser off the track and water from the stock car track with the hose.
"We monitor weather forecasts days ahead and take regular temperature readings at the track on race days. "Our kennels also have the best air conditioning in the entire stadium."
