Open ante-post market for the Arena Racing Company Northern Puppy Derby

Goldcash Warrior was the early mover in the ante-post market for the Arena Racing Company Northern Puppy Derby which starts at Newcastle on Thursday.

Nathan Hunt’s runner was backed into 10-3 favouritism with Coral for the Category One event over 480m when prices were released. He goes in heat three looking to build on an unblemished record of three UK starts and three wins.

Incidentally, the fast Nottingham winner takes on litter brother Goldcash Prince, trained by Michelle Brown, as well as Ted Soppitt’s highly-rated Ballymac Buddy.

Favourite with bet365 for outright honours in the £12,500-to-the-winner feature won last year by Ireland’s Droopys Deploy is Debbie Calvert’s Soapy Suds.

Beaten favourite in the bet365 English Puppy Oaks Final at Oxford at the backend of last year, the classy daughter of Ballymac Bolger has since impressed with wins at home track Doncaster and has trialled well at the Byker venue.
