There is open class racing on Friday night from both Romford (where we have two selections) and from Sunderland where we have one.
Friday's Tips
*** Coonough Laura - 8.13 Romford
** Underground Navy - 9.33 Romford
* Toddys Wolf - 8.03 Sunderland
The return to the red jacket could be just the ticket for Coonough Laura to get her head back in front this evening at Romford. She has been beaten on her last two starts when sporting the white of three and failing to get a clean run around the opening bend, Prior to that, she had looked a really nice recruit when scoring twice from the inside slot and she can do so again here.
A step up to 750m around here has seen Underground Navy to great effect so far, winning both of her starts, with decisions over a couple of her rivals this evening. It clearly suits her really well, and she can get on the bunny from an early stage once more this evening to continue her perfect start over the trip.
Toddys Wolf returns to four bends this evening at Sunderland having made it to the final of the Northamptonshire Sprint at Towcester over two. He was a Winter Derby and Laurels finalist over four bends at Monmore and Dunstall Park earlier on in the year, so he is every bit as talented over two and four and can show off his skills here.
