"I can tell you rural Wales is angry at how the focus is very much on them"
There is plenty of momentum behind the petition to challenge the greyhound racing ban in Wales, with more than 4,400 now having signed.

Fight for Wales growing stronger
The petition which challenges the ban on greyhound racing in Wales has now reached over 4,400 signatures - and there is today fresh impetus to continue the fight.
A political insider has contacted Greyhound News UK to urge supporters to double down on their efforts and continue to spread the word about how backdoor politics is threatening a local community and damaging the sport - as well as having serious repercussions for horse racing in Wales and beyond.
She said: "I think we see this as the thin edge of the wedge and I can tell you rural Wales is angry at how the focus is very much on them. The petition is definitely worth continuing and gathering as many signatures as possible.
"As we know any petition which attracts over 10,000 signatures becomes a strong petition and, while the Minister has yet to respond to calls to look again at the ban, by showing that there's real concern about the impact the ban will have definitely concentrates the mind and the publicity generated could see them revisit it.
"The political changes after the elections in Wales came too late for the ban - they sped it through it seemed - and questions have definitely been asked how the democratic process worked, if was used at all!
"Getting to a situation where the ban might be debated has to be the goal - and a strong petition goes some way to do that. And I've not even started about how this whole thing was hardly evidence-based.
"That's a whole different chapter in this ridiculous situation."
Recent days has seen the focus shift to horse racing's plight in Wales after first minister Rhun ap Iorwerth failed to respond to a question about the future of jump racing in Wales.
