Three graded selections this evening inbetween what is a hectic week of open race action.
The nap of the evening runs in the A2 at Romford at 8.19pm. Trap three Miami Sapphire who was backed off the boards on his last start in the grade but a missed break and a flyer from Droopys Swanky saw the former get beat comfortably. He needs to clear Burgess Coolio this evening but a level break from Miami Sapphire would see him turn worse case with his rival and then from the second bend he would be too strong for Burgess Coolio so if Miami Sapphire can trap on terms and get the run required, he should go onto win.
The next best for the evening is trap three Heathmill Nidge who runs in the A4 at Perry Barr at 6.59pm. He steps up in trip following a successful stint over sprint distances featuring an open race victory as Nottingham as well as two D2 victories at Perry Barr including an impressive 16.23 display last time out. He has one way of winning and that is cracking out and making all so he needs to trap well from the middle draw where hopefully he can go far enough clear to hold on from the challengers later on in the race.
We head to Yarmouth for the third bet of the evening where trap four Curtain Twitcher takes a drop in class in the A1 and can take advantage of that at 7.39pm. She has found herself in with the likes of Druids All Go and Back To Black in recent weeks so takes a welcomed step back in quality this evening where if she traps on terms she should win. Good Steel and King Stevens either side of Curtain Twitcher can go to the bend well so as long as she avoids any coming together she can return to winning ways.
