Joe's Wednesday Tips

***8.31 Yarmouth - Back To Black (3pts) 4/1
**7.11 Romford - Snoozing Jimmy (2pts) 6/1
*8.01 Romford - Micks Amigo (2pts) 2/1

A disappointing Tuesday evening sees us looking to bounce back this evening with three more selections.

The nap of the evening runs in the A1 at Yarmouth at 8.31pm. Trap six Back To Black returned to competitive action behind Bombay The Joker in open company on Saturday and looks well drawn to go well this evening with a vacant box inside him. It’s a strong A1 with Moaning Rossi in trap three but he might be squeezed for room with Murrow Khatani and Inflation going to the bend well and that should give Back To Black a clear passage out wide that he can take advantage of.

The next best is trap six Snoozing Jimmy in the A2 at Romford at 7.11pm. He is a dog who hasn’t won since January but in recent weeks at different tracks including Perry Barr, Towcester and the 575m trip at Romford he has shown what he is capable of and his strong running style can suit tonight’s race. There’s a battle for the lead in this race between traps one, two and five so that should suit Snoozing Jimmy who can keep himself to himself and pick up the pieces late on.

The third bet of the evening is trap two Micks Amigo in the A3 at Romford at 8.01pm. An August 2023 pup for Paul Young he has only had two competitive starts but ran a big race in defeat when second last time out after not really coming away. The early pace is on the outside so if Micks Amigo manages to clear Exve Strike on his inside and hold his line to the bend, the impressive pace he showed from the second to third bend can come into play this evening where he can find himself in front off the last bend to go on and win at the third time of asking.
