Joe's Wednesday Tips - 4 June 2025
It's graded action on Wednesday evening as Joe Conneely looks over the greyhound racing at Romford and Yarmouth.

Joe's Wednesday Tips
***8.47 Yarmouth - Puckane Sydney (4pts) 11/8
** 8.01 Romford - Whitewood Libre (3pts) 10/3
*8.31 Yarmouth - Wonderful Ollie (2pts) 3/1
Three graded selections this evening in between all the open race action taking place at various tracks throughout the week.
The nap of the night runs in the A2 at Yarmouth at 8.47pm. Trap two Puckane Sydney has found himself in a winnable race albeit he comes away from trap one. He needs to stay clear of Farneys Voinnie on his inside and with nothing on his immediate outside in three, a clear run should be enough to see him win. He is a strong runner so as long as the gaps appear for Puckane Sydney he should be able to come from off the pace to catch the likes of Drumdoit Buster.
We head to Romford for the next best in the S1 at 8.47pm. Trap one Whitewood Libre was third behind Jeopardy Delta with Kates Dream half a length in front of Whitewood Libre in second. However I believe Whitewood Libre can reverse the form with Kates Dream. He turned in second last week behind her and never really looked like getting to her but she has more to do this evening with Droopys Standby on her outside so Whitewood Libre could find himself in front of Kates Dream at an earlier stage and from there if he leads at any stage he should not be for catching.
The third bet for the evening is trap one Wonderful Ollie in the A2 at Yarmouth at 8.31pm. He has had two races back following a lay off and although he has been beat comfortably on both occasions, he has had excuses finding plenty of trouble. He finds himself in a race this evening where the early pace is on the outside in the wider runners so as long as Wonderful Ollie can break better than previously, he can hold his pitch into the first bend and assert from the second to pick up since winning over 575m at Romford in February.
