Joe's Wednesday Tips - 9 July 2025
Winners at Romford and Yarmouth are the targets this evening for Joe Conneely's greyhound racing tips.

Joe's Wednesday Tips
***8.47 Yarmouth - Droopys Halley (3pts) 13/2
**9.28 Romford - Stouke Henry (2pts) 6/4
*7.39 Yarmouth - Leeview Glory (1pt) 7/2
Three more graded selections this evening across the cards at Yarmouth and Romford before another hectic end to the week, and weekend of open race action.
The nap of the evening runs in the A2 at Yarmouth at 8.47pm. Trap one Droopys Halley dropped back into A2 last week and ran the same race he has been running in A1 company prior to his run seven days ago. However this looks a more comfortable A2 for Droopys Halley where if he gets any kind of run from the second bend he can show that customary burst of speed from the second to third bend to get himself in the race. From there, if he gets the run required he should be more than capable of going on to win a race of this nature with Druids Lana, the main danger to Droopys Halley, who is on the downgrade from A1 to A2.
The next best is trap two Stouke Henry in the A4 at Romford at 9.28pm. He found himself in a tough open race behind Roanna Mamba on his first competitive start since April last week over C&D so drops into a winnable race this evening. He was in brilliant form at Central Park prior to his break so the 24.33 trial was impressive enough two runs back and any improvement on that would see him go close in a race where if trapping, he should get first run on the dogs he is sandwiched between.
The third bet of the evening is trap one Leeview Glory in the A1 at Yarmouth at 7.39pm. In what is a competitive affair, Leeview Glory has a good makeup to work from. Drawn on the inside, he should clear traps two and three to the bend. The early pace is on the outside in traps four, five and six so if Leeview Glory can get first run on the slower starters, he can take advantage of a race that could suit his strong running style if things get slightly messy on the outside with the early pacesetters.
