There is graded action on Wednesday night at Yarmouth and Romford. We have two selections for the first of those and one for the other.
Wednesday's Tips
*** Stormy Neymar - 7.39 Yarmouth
** Luminous Flyer - 8.01 Romford
* Mystical Luke - 6.48 Yarmouth
Stormy Neymar didn't come away as well as he can on his most recent start, and he needed to smash the bars down to have any hope of coping with Rockmount Kellie who produced the second quickest time of 2026 over 277m. He had won three of his prior four runs at this D1 level prior to that, and has won four of the six times that he has sported the blue jacket in a sprint at this track.
An A9 at Romford for the next best of the night and Luminous Flyer. He should be able to clear his sole rival inside of him who he has 13 kilos on, with the pair outside of him probably drawn the wrong way around. The three moved right in the early strides when winning last time while the first move of the four was to the left. That can leave the selection with plenty of clean air early on which he can take advantage of.
There has been plenty of improvement from Mystical Luke around Yarmouth, with five wins from his last eight starts. This is going to demand more of him up another level but he has a tidy draw as the sole railer with a vacant trap outside of him. He has decent enough early pace to get himself to the bend on the shoulder of the leaders. That should hopefully allow him to slip around the inside and kick on down the back.
