There are six open races at Nottingham this evening for us to study to find our three best selections for the greyhound racing tips.
Monday's Tips
*** Santas Tornado - 9.11 Nottingham
** Vialli - 7.44 Nottingham
* Ballymac Panzara - 8.01 Nottingham
The final of a Maiden Trophy at 9.11 this evening can see Santas Tornado take advantage of being the only seeded runner in the contest. He took a while to get on top in his heat, but he was the quickest there and with five railers inside of him, he can get a nice run around and pick them up late on once more. That was his first run here after a string of good runs at Dunstall Park, and he can continue that form.
Vialli only had one run for Roy Peckham when fourth at Romford back in March. He had put himself into a number of notebooks when he clocked 15.73 in a Towcester trial prior to that, so clearly has some class about him. He has trialled well in a couple of looks here, and while trap three might be as far away from the rails as he would want to be, his Towcester trial would suggest that he can step up on his 305m trial here.
One without a single race so far in her career is Ballymac Panzara. She has been chipping away a few spots in each of her trials here over 305m and should be capable of doing more so again here. Out of Ballymac Ariel, that makes her a half-sister to a star at this track in Bockos Buster as well as the likes of Elusivenomore and Flashing Fender.
