Star Sports is to once again host an English Greyhound Derby preview night at their flagship shop in Mayfair on April 28.
"I know Towcester are already staging trial stakes for the Star Sports & Orchestrate Ltd English Greyhound Derby - and they are looking fantastic - but this is where the countdown to the Classic really begins!" said Kim Sanzone, Star's head of greyhound racing operations.
"Attendance is by invite only but if anyone wishes to join us they are welcome to contact me at [email protected].
"We will be kicking the night off at our Curzon Street shop in Mayfair at 6pm on Tuesday, April 28.
"Hosted by Star Sports's very own Kaan Hughes, our top panel of experts will include Ireland’s Ian Fortune, champion UK trainer Mark Wallis, plus our greyhound betting guru Martin ‘Lofty’ Chapman. Emily Wallis will provide interviews and social media interaction.
"It promises to be an evening full of Derby chat covering first round heat previews and, of course, with obligatory tipster bragging rights! "Full refreshments will be provided including our famous Mayfair fish and chips.
"Spaces are very limited so confirmation of attendance will be needed by no later than Tuesday, April 21."
