Sunday's Greyhound Racing Tips - 8 February 2026
There is open class action at both Star Pelaw this evening and Towcester this afternoon. Our best bet of the day run at the first of those and we have two other picks this afternoon at the latter.

Sunday's Tips
*** Resilient Lady - 7.42 Star Pelaw
** Romeo Tribute - 3.51 Towcester
* Carrick Scholsey - 5.43 Towcester
A four-bend maiden around Star Pelaw should be a formality for Resilient Lady who has dipped under 26 seconds in two of her three starts at this track. She looks to have a lovely draw to work from in the striped jacket and another similar effort to those that she has produced already this year can see her home in front.
Romeo Tribute is only a May 24 whelp but he has looked in need of the step up in trip to six bends. He has shown some solid form over the 500m trip here including when making the semis of the British Bred Derby. He chased home King Memphis in both heats and semis there, clocking 29.38 in the first of those. If he can transfer that to six bends, he is going is going to be tough to beat.
It is fair to say that Carrick Scholsey is yet to reach the same levels since joining the kennel of Mike Burton that he did in Ireland, but he has only had four starts over here. This looks his most winnable opportunity so far and it was only back at the end of September that he made the Derby Plate final at Shelbourne. Anything within a few lengths of that would make him far too hot to handle.
