New show for greyhound racing fans
Sky Sports Racing is launching a brand new greyhound show next month.
Known as The Box Seat, the show will take place every Wednesday from October 7 and will feature live action from Dunstall Park and Romford - with reporters on track and guests in the studio.
Pilots for the new programme were broadcast earlier this year and the summer months has seen work on a new style with greyhound racing-specific graphics and studio set-up constructed.
Future developments could see touchscreens and speed maps utilised and other ideas introduced
A spokesman said: "We will be looking at the best of the action from the open-race Calendar that week and previewing the big races coming up.
"The plan is also to have trainers, owners and industry figures on the programme via Zoom, plus we'll also have lots of audience participation with emails and WhatsApp messages now available."
Darrell Williams will host the programme from the Sky Sports Racing studios with Anthony Ennis on course at Dunstall Park reporting.
