*** Ashway June - 8.52 Valley

** Unanimous Leo - 8.01 Newcastle

* Grovenor Anna - 6.46 Valley

Six bends around Valley has been the perfect fit for Ashway June who got herself back to winning ways last week given a slightly easier assignment than taking on the likes of multi Cat One finalist Ballymac Madgie. This field does not look like it is going to be any more taxing for her so she should be putting another win on the board.

A sprint contest at Newcastle looks like a good opportunity for Unanimous Leo to rediscover the winning thread. He has some very solid form over both two and four bends since arriving with Tom Heilbron and the long run to the corner here is going to be a big plus for him. His efforts at this track have been over four bends to this point where he has produced some flying splits.

This will be just the second time that Grovenor Anna has run over six bends this evening, the third different distance in her last three starts to give some idea of her adaptability. She got trodden on at the opening bend on her only prior start over this far, doing well to clock 41.24 under the circumstances. Capable of trapping better than that as well, a clear run should take her sub 41 which will ask a question on her rivals.
