* Face The Storm - 7.58 Valley
Brunch Pal continues on his travels after running up a sequence at Central Park at short prices. He was out of luck at Towcester at the weekend but just four dogs have gone quicker than his 29.01 success over track and trip from back in March and he probably wouldn't be required to go anything like as quick as that today to get his head back in front.
Tonight feels like a better chance to see what Finchogue Fury is capable of for Belinda Green having been set some tough tasks of late. He missed four months of action after his debut for Green, being pitched into the opening round of the Coral Coronation Cup on his return. He was a length and a quarter off qualifying in a race that was won by the eventual competition winner. Most recently he was in a heat of the Coral Sussex Cup, two lengths off qualifying behind Tiffield Tarquin. This looks a lot easier for them this evening.
It has not been a surprise to see the money come for Face The Storm this evening at Valley for Mike Burton. Although he lacks a look here which is not ideal, he has been taking on considerably better company than he is going to be doing this evening. His trainer knows this track well and clearly feels he's the right type to cash in on a confidence building exercise down in grade.
