Tuesday's Tips
*** Kilbride Tractor - 8.52 Suffolk Downs
** Farneys Tearaway - 7.14 Suffolk Downs
* Savana Sprite - 8.09 Suffolk Downs
It is a solid level of form that Kilbride Tractor has been producing over the six bends at Suffolk Downs of late. His 34.08 when runner-up two starts back stands out like a beacon in this field, and while his subsequent S3 win was not to that level, he was always well in control of his rivals and was always looking like he would pull out more if it was ever required.
This is an easier field for Farneys Tearaway to take on, stepping up to six bends for the first time. He had a couple of smart wins over 388m here back in December to start his career but he has been found wanting in better company over four bends since. He is still young and lightly-raced and this might be a better opportunity for him.
Savana Sprite took them along for a long way in a similar race to this last week, just getting run down late on by a stronger stayer at the trip. That is going to continue to be a minor cause for concern for her but she has only had two tries over this far and the times that she produced means that she sets the standard.
