Tuesday Tips

*** Longcroft Ant - 8.07 Towcester

** Swift Year Long - 7.33 Towcester

* Disembark - 6.42 Towcester

The start of the month saw an impressive win in this grade for Longcroft Ant who had been off since June. That was only his second start over four bends at this track, so there is still room for improvement from him. He was stepped up to A4 last time but was a non runner and is interestingly back down to his winning level of A5 again here which he can capitalise on.

There is an interesting B5 on the card where Swift Year Long might be able to control the outside from the start, and that could be enough in this field. He is the most consistent of these on the clock, something that counts for plenty at this level. His main rival might well be Athy Town who won in this grade two starts back and is quickly back down to this level.

Things have gone off the boil a little bit for Disembark after winning at the level above this in a smart time in May. He has hinted a couple of times of late that he is perhaps starting to find some form again, for all that he was below par when last in action. Has lost his trapping boots a little but he remains dangerous at a very workable level.
