Tuesday's Tips

*** Eagles Respect - 7.33 Swindon 8/13

** Eff Tee Em - 8.16 Star Pelaw 2/1

* Farney Millie - 6.21 Suffolk Downs 9/4

He is a short price but Eagles Respect can make up for the short-odds defeat a week back and gain his revenge over Sallowglen Hope. The Produce Stakes winner has produced a string of smart runs over this track and trip in the last couple of months and a clear run should be all that he needs to get his head back in front.

Although kenenlmate Favourite Rogue was the quickest qualifier last week for the sprint final at Star Pelaw, Eff Tee Em had the measure of that one in a trial and has the pick of the draw. The selection is the sole railer to make the final, which should give him all the room that he needs to operate on the run to the bend. Strong over this trip, he should come home too strongly for them.

Suffolk Downs are back in action tonight for the first time since July 2024. It is going to take a few weeks for the track and form to settle there again so Farney Millie is no more than a token selection on the opening night. She has been taking on some decent dogs for Kevin Boon, pitched into the Oaks on just her second start for the kennel, involved in a rough heat which was won by Droopys Kathleen. Her Cork form in the summer reads well at this level and she moved nicely in a recent trial.
