There is graded action at both Yarmouth and Romford tonight with a pair of selections at the former and one at the latter

** Decoy Luka - 7.39 Yarmouth
* Tea Leaf Thor - 8.54 Romford
Early pace has won Bucking Bucks races throughout his career, a very smart type over both two and four bends. He is plying his trade at Yarmouth now following the closure of Suffolk Downs and has quickly picked up a couple of wins. The most recent of those was in this grade in a decent 16.30, and with a vacant trap inside him, a repeat would make him very hard to hold.
There was plenty to like about the race debut of Decoy Luka last week, picked up late in the day by one who was very well in on the pick of her old form having been competitive some three grades higher for large swathes of 2025. This puppy should have learnt plenty from that effort and from what looks an ace draw on paper with an empty box to his left, he can make it second time lucky.
The last time that Tea Leaf Thor contested an A9 at Romford he clocked a winning time of 24.65. That was identical to the time that he had clocked in the win that he had on his card prior to that, struggling in a trio of A8 races subsequently. Back down to this level will be a help to him and that level sets a pretty decent standard here.
