*** Makeit Jackson - 8.59 Towcester
** Makeit Dj - 7.49 Towcester
* Contempt - 6.42 Towcester
On his last attempt in a B3 contest, Makeit Jackson was sent off the 8/13 market leader. Ultimately it was the bookies who kept the money as he was knocked over at the first bend. He moved very well in a two-bend trial to get himself back on the card and is well worth another chance to show what he is capable of.
Last Tuesday was a slightly disappointing run from Makeit Dj when we liked him in an A6 contest. There is certainly better from him with so few miles on the clock, and this race is full of some fellow early pacers like him, without being quite as strong coming home. He has the gears to lead them up and might be able to hold them off this week.
Contempt is a little between trips at Towcester but he has been shaping well in recent starts at this level, and tonight might finally be his time. The runner to his immediate right in trap two is more of a middle runner which is going to give him plenty of room in which to operate on the inside. He is also capable of coming away better than he has in sprints so far.
