Wednesday's Tips

*** Whyaye Lass - 6.14 Yarmouth

** Piemans Goalie - 9.28 Romford

* Lesleys Memory - 6.53 Romford

The Yarmouth card this evening opens with an A1 contest where a pair of promising young pups will be going head to head. Whyaye Lass already has a win in this grade to her credit and boasts quicker times than her main dancer Rolo Crunch in five. The middle runner should be able to put these to the sword from the start and can add another win to her record.

It is a rare occasion that Piemans Goalie is seen in graded company these days. Just once this year and four times in 2025 in total, winning on three of those five occasions. His trial back from being off colour was no more than fair but he is a dog who thrives on competition around him, so he is fully expected to get back into the groove now in race action once again,

It is a Romford debut tonight for Lesleys Memory who has trialled into A5 grade. She is going to take a little bit of getting used to this very different track than Newcastle where she used to run but starting in this sort of company will help. In her final start at Newcastle she led up an open sprint that contained Stonepark Hoffa, Sunnyside Ted and Sunnyside Jayden. That level of form is streets above these.
