*** Romantic Storm - 7.56 Yarmouth

** Elvis Bay - 7.11 Romford

* Final Sapphire - 8.07 Dunstall Park

The 7.56 at Yarmouth tonight sees Romantic Storm step down to A2 level for the first time since September and just the second time overall. She has won a pair of A1 races and an open in the interim, and this drop down the graded ladder could be exactly the ticket that she needs to get another win to her credit.

Elvis Bay is a very interesting newcomer for Paul Young at Romford this evening. He showed some very smart form in Ireland at the end of 2025, clocking 28.70 at Cork and at Clonmel. There has been some fair trials here to grade him in and A5 grade ought to be well within his level of ability first time up here.

It is a similar story for Final Sapphire at Dunstall Park. She has run in a race, pitched into a sprint open at Nottingham on her debut but this will be her first try at graded racing on her home track. She has been handed what looks on paper like a very winnable D4 this evening and she can get herself off to the perfect start.
