There is just a single evening meeting tonight ahead of ringing in the new year, so we head to Dunstall Park for our three selections on the evening.
Wednesday's Tips
*** Kellsboro Cilla - 8.24 Dunstall Park
** Tickity Tilly - 7.49 Dunstall Park
* Knock Voodoo - 6.42 Dunstall Park
Although Kellsboro Cilla was a little bit disappointing when she was dropped into this grade last time out, she is worth another chance to get it right. She was nine and a quarter lengths behind Kilwest Diva the time before in an open, that form reading well in an A3. She has smart early gears, winning a sprint open at this track in November and is more than capable even though this trip stretches her stamina.
Since coming back from a run in an open at Star Pelaw, Tickity Tilly has not been in quite the same form as she was before heading there. She gets a downgrade as a result and this could see her back in a much better light. The times that she was producing as recently as the middle of November would be plenty for her rivals to handle.
Knock Voodoo was a winner in this A6 grade back in late October. She has finished second in her last two at this level while producing times of 29.08 and 29.17. She would be very unlucky to be turned over for a third time in this grade if she is able to produce that level once more.
