*** Swift Jericho - 6.14 Yarmouth
** Swift Nyla - 8.07 Dunstall Park
* Bacon Hotpot - 7.27 Romford
It's a touch frustrating for punters that Swift Jericho has not managed to cash in on a pair of A2 starts, sent off favourite on both occasions. He won an A1 race on March 21, dipping under 28 seconds in the process, that sets a good standard here. He has a slow starter to his outside so can quickly take control of the rails which can allow him to get his head back in front.
Swift Nyla has been seen in D2 grade just once so far at Dunstall Park. That was on her debut at the track, winning comfortably. She has picked up a pair of D1 contests since that October victory, back down a level on her first run since the start of April. She can lead these up through the middle and that should be enough to see her 2/2 in this grade.
The grader has given Bacon Hotpot a good opportunity to get herself back on the win sheet in an A7 at Romford tonight. She was a slick winner at the level above just before coming into season, and now 11 weeks post her rest she should be heading back in the right direction. This is not the deepest race for the grade and she can prove too strong.
