Wednesday's Greyhound Tips - 7 January 2026
Wednesday night is only graded action but there are three selections that we like on the cards at Romford and Yarmouth this evening.

Wednesday's Tips
*** Don Rocco - 8.19 Romford
** Brindle Moon - 9.28 Romford
* Lady Wright - 9.23 Yarmouth
Paul Burr could have a nice type on his hands with Don Rocco who makes his UK debut at Romford tonight. He was a perfect 2/2 when running in Ireland and has shown up well in his trials here. The most recent of those saw him just get picked up in the shadow of the line by Jacktavern Chief who was runner-up in the Ladbrokes Gold Cup back in the summer. Not a bad line of form to have heading into an A2 tonight.
It's fair to say that Brindle Moon has not had a lot of luck since arriving back in A3 grade at Romford. Two goes so far have seen him beaten by Piemans Fletch and Zenith Kindy who each got a double upgrade to A1 and promptly won again. He has A1 form himself and there does not appear to be a rival lurking that would fit that bill here, so he should be able to pick up his A3 success.
It's always a bit of guessing game when backing pups on debut but Lady Wright catches the eye in the A7 which closes out the Yarmouth card this evening. She has produced some fair efforts in trials, beaten in her two mixed by a pair who went straight into A3, one of those only beaten a length on Yarmouth debut. Her sectional is improving with each go and she would not need much on those to go around in front this evening.
