Friday's Greyhound Racing Tips - 30 October 2026
There are open races at both Romford and Sunderland this evening. We have looked over the two cards to find our three selections.
Friday's Tips
*** Montana Tiger - 7.53 Romford
** Underground Matt - 9.13 Romford
* Im Here - 7.43 Sunderland
He is going to be a short price but it is hard to oppose Montana Tiger even without a look here. He made the final of the East Anglian Derby at his home track of Yarmouth, doing the best of his work late on over the 462m distance. The step up to 575m looks a natural move for him and he runs the tricky bends at that track fine so should be able to find his way around here in a four dog contest easily enough.
It is a slightly wider than ideal draw for Underground Matt in a stayers final this evening but he has the early pace to clear the three on his inside if he comes away as he can. He returned to a level of form approaching his best when winning his heat last week, and it wouldn't need any more than that to get his head in front again here.
At Sunderland there is a very exciting English debut for Im Here. He made the final of the BOYLE Sports Irish Derby at Shelbourne last month before coming over to Carl Jackson. He trapped moderately in his trial over 450m compared to what he can do but he improved massively in that regard from first sprint look here to second. There should be loads to come from him with that further look under his belt.
