A third short head runner-up from our last six graded stats tip yesterday at Yarmouth, a frustrating run.
4.52 Romford - T2 Quinton Boy
Top grade action at London Road this afternoon where Paul Young's son of Droopys Sydney steps back up to 400m after competing in open race sprints in his last two starts. The drop back into the graded system in early 2025 has paid dividends, winning three of his four runs in A1 company, including all three of his starts when he has been clad in the blue jacket as he is today.
He has the early gears to lead up trap one and the size and strength to hold off trap three on the run to the bend, He has been competitive in those recent open races sprints, showing more than enough pace to get those on the inside burnt off by the third bend. Both of the wide runners are capable of a flashy run so are dangerous if they are on their game.
