The near veteran has found his form again in recent weeks, twice a winner at the level below. He was running in A4 just six months ago before an injury set him back, so even with an upgrade into an A7 for his recent success, he is still at a very workable level win the pick of his form.

When it comes to his starts in A7 in the past, he has three wins from three runs when he is clad in the black jacket as he will be this evening and has five wins in seven starts overall in this grade. His two wins in A8 both came from trap five which is vacant here so he can move off a little on the run-up into that space. He has the early gears to lead these up and he can hopefully sneak far enough clear to hold on.
