Monday evening must mean that it is off to Nottingham tonight for open class action. We have taken a look over the card to find three picks that we like.
Monday's Tips
*** Bockos Buster - 7.27 Nottingham
** Magic Hands - 9.11 Nottingham
* Swift Kipper - 8.19 Nottingham
No prizes for picking out Bockos Buster in a sprint this evening as he is going to be sent off a very short-priced favourite, but he is a class act and he loves this track, so he should be the centrepiece of any multis at Nottingham tonight. A finalist in the National Sprint here last December, he should appreciate the drop back in distance after contesting a Derby heat last time out.
There is a distinct lack of track experience in the 9.11 which could play perfectly into the paws of Magic Hands. An A2 winner here last time out, he clocked a fair time for the grade on that occasion and as a relatively young dog, with only three runs under his belt at this track, he should be able to go on from there to produce better.
Swift Kipper missed the break last week which is unusual for her, well behind the re-opposing Aghaburren Ben on that occasion. She is a much smarter trapper than that on a normal occasion and even from a slightly unfamiliar draw in three, she can get herself to the front early over her preferred shorter four-bend trip here and get back on the winning path.
