Monday evening will see three open races at Nottingham as the feature of their card, where we have taken a look for our tips to start the week.
Monday's Tips
*** Swift Kipper - 8.36 Nottingham
** Swift Home - 8.01 Nottingham
* Black Chintz - 7.27 Nottingham
There has been an excellent string of wins in recent weeks around Nottingham from Swift Kipper. The very best of those have come over the 480m trip and she is over 500m tonight, but she has enough winning form over the extra 20m for that not to be any concern. She is the sole middle runner outside of four railers, and given she has the best sectionals, she should be around in front to avoid any potential trouble behind.
Four middles and two wides in the ladies final at 8.01, so finding those who have their draw and the pace to take advantage of it looks the key. Swift Home was the quicker of the two heat winners, with her win coming when sporting the white jacket of three. She is in that same starting slot again this evening and can take advantage once more with another success.
One who might be a little bit more of a price in the sprint at 7.27 is Black Chintz. A very quick glance at the recent form could see disregarded on the back of one run in seven months which was a D4 win at Harlow. On the bare face of that form, she would not be easy to support but that will have at least blown away the cobwebs and she won an open over this track and trip back in September in 18.17 which would put her right in the mix against these.
