Saturday's Greyhound Racing Tips - 24 January 2026
Central Park this evening sees the final of the Arena Racing Company Cesarewitch and while we have avoided that race for our tips, we have three on the card.
Saturday's Tips
*** Racenight Mikey - 5.30 Central Park
** Martindale Lad - 6.10 Central Park
* Borna Show - 6.50 Central Park
The opening contest on the Central Park card can see Maxine Locke get the night off to the perfect start. The inside pair are the dangers to him but they both look drawn the wrong way around. If there is any coming together on the run to the opening turn, that should give the selection the opportunity that he needs to escape around the outside.
Another wide runner who can get home in front comes in a sprint contest. This has the potential to be a decent battle between the top and bottom on the card. Beaming Isla was a finalist in the Silver Salver at the track last summer but she has not quite been in that sort of form of late and has a better record drawn just off the rails. Martindale Lad is a natural trapper and has more than held his own in decent company at this track. He can lead these up and go on to win.
The 6.50 is a fascinating maiden with a pair on the inside who both boast some decent times in Ireland. Preference is for Borna Show for all that he lacks a look at the track. His form at Shelbourne in October when chasing home the likes of Ballinabola Joe and Coosane Pickles looks very strong in the context of this race.
