Towcester is the place to be on Sunday afternoon with the semi-final stage of the BGBF Produce Stakes and the Elite Southern Supplies Northamptonshire Sprint on the card.

Singalong Cherry has been learning Towcester on the fly having come into the Produce Stakes without a prior look. She chased home the re-opposing Harton Whirlwind in the heats when that runner set the quickest time of the round before winning her quarter-final. It is reasonable to expect that Pat Buckley's charge has better still to come.
Connections of Newinn Souly will be delighted that their charge has drawn both the easier of the two semis of the Northamptonshire Sprint, and has the red jacket on his back. He was superb at Nottingham on his return to action from a break but missed the up in his heat of this competition. That refresher should have put him spot on for this and he can take a big step forward on that bare time with a decent exit.
Today looks a better opportunity for Newinn Tonic to get her head back in front having been taking on stronger company of late. She has bundles of early speed and has multiple wins over the 500m distance here, despite it being a touch too far for her. She has lovable veteran Brentfordpenguin to beat but that rival is arguably suited better by traps two or three than one.
