Sunday's Greyhound Racing Tips - 2 August 2026
There is open class action on Sunday afternoon at both Sheffield and Towcester. We have two tips for the former and one at the latter.
Sunday's Tips
*** Grouchos Cossie - 4.41 Sheffield
** Colliers Bucholz - 3.26 Sheffield
* Poly Styrene - 4.28 Towcester
Grouchos Cassie was not at his best when returned to this track last week having made the semis of the Time Northern Flat at Newcastle. Trap four on that occasion was wider than ideal and he found some trouble around the opening couple of bends. From the blue jacket this afternoon, things should be much more straightforward for him, and he can return to winning ways.
This is the first time that Colliers Bucholz has been seen in race action since the end of April at Doncaster. His last six runs at this track have yielded five wins and a short head second to Rental Crisis. His trials have not set the world alight at Doncaster in his prep work ahead of this, but this is not the toughest race that he has run in and he has a great record when he was fresh.
It is yet another wide draw for Poly Styrene at Towcester but she appreciated the drop in level of opposition last week when she ran riot by seven lengths on that occasion. She can ride her luck on the run to the turn and around the opening couple of bends before asserting down the back to pick up another success.
