*** Goldcash Warrior - 5.37 Sheffield

* Zenith Pasha - 4.22 Sheffield

The early rounds of this competition should suit Goldcash Warrior well, making the quarter-final stage of the Greyhound Derby. He has won four of his seven career starts when he has sported the red jacket in the past and although he lacks a look at this track, he should be more than capable of taking advantage of this lower level of opposition over this trip.

A recent trial here is going to need to be improved upon by Toddys Tank but he is more than capable of that. He made the semis of the Steel City Cup at this track in the autumn, clocking a very smart time over the 500m trip in the opening round. He has also made the finals of the Birmingham Cup and the All England Cup, so although his 2026 form is not quite to that level, he is still the class act here.

The opening round of the Derby saw Zenith Pasha finish runner-up to Ballymac Duffle as Liam Dowling's charge set a new track record. He was unable to back that up in the second round but shaped very well in a trial at this track, stopping the clock in 27.71 once the going had been taken off. The red jacket is a bit of an unknown, only sporting it once in his career to this point but there is plenty of talent there.
